What we collect (very little), why, and how to get rid of it.
We store your email address, the date you signed up, and which page you signed up from. That’s it. We use it to send The Almanac Brief and nothing else. We don’t sell, rent or share it. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can email us to be deleted at any time.
We record that a click happened — which product search and which page it came from — so we know what’s useful. This is aggregate interest data. The destination retailer sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy once you arrive; that relationship is between you and them.
We use privacy-respecting server-side counts and Cloudflare’s aggregate analytics. No advertising trackers, no cross-site profiling, no third-party cookies from us.
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we’ll action it — there’s no form and no hoops.
GetMart isn’t directed at children and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
