Are these live prices? No — and we won’t pretend otherwise. Our price bands are researched guidance on what a category typically sells for in Australia. Every buy button sends you to the retailer to see today’s actual price. A site quoting “live” prices it scraped last Tuesday is lying to you.
How do you make money? Affiliate commission, disclosed on every page. If you buy after clicking through, we may earn a small percentage at no extra cost to you. Nobody can pay for a verdict, and our Kmart dupe test recommends a product we earn nothing from — that’s the standard we hold.
Where does the calendar data come from? Documented retail cycles: fixed-date events computed by rule (Black Friday is always the day after the fourth Thursday of November), plus seasonal patterns like end-of-winter heater clearance.
